Hiking
Thursday, we will hike the easy, level hike of Kindred Reserve. There will be views of the Colorado National Monument, ponds, and a stream. This hike is about 2 miles and will take less than 2 hours. It will be partly sunny, with temperatures in the 70's.
Kindred Reserve, nature park, is a Grand Junction park near Tiara Rado golf course. More info Here: https://www.gjcity.org/1087/Kindred-Reserve-Open-Space-Park It might be fun to eat at Clubhouse 25 restaurant at Tiara Rado. https://www.facebook.com/Clubhouse25/
Directions: Proceed South on Redlands Parkway (think south end of 24 Rd.) which changes to South Broadway. Head towards Tiara Rado Golf Course. When you see the big Kindred Reserve sign near the rail fence, continue past the driving range and turn right in the special parking lot. Do not park in the driving range.
