Hikes are easy-going, reasonably paced and typically 3-5 miles. They are either a loop or out-and-back, usually with less than 200 feet of elevation increase. Typically, we meet at a location and carpool to the trailheads. We meet every Thursday at 8:45 a.m. weather permitting to finalize plans and decide on carpools and depart at 9 am.
Our next wine tasting is on Thursday June 18th from 4-6pm at the Art Center. Cost will remain $25.00. Wines from Eastern Europe will be sampled and can be ordered for purchase from Fisher's Liquor Barn. Payment deadline is June 11th and no reservations will be accepted after that. Please send your check for $25/person (made out to Newcomers Club of Grand Junction) to Ken Seitz at 2675 Autumn Brook Ct, GJ 81506 and be sure it arrives by the deadline.
