GJNC Monthly Meeting & Coffee

The speaker for August is Emilee Powell The executive of housing resources of Western Colorado.  She brings more than 20 years of experience in affordable housing and community development to her role. Her experience includes leadership roles at affordable housing nonprofits in California and New Mexico, as well as with NeighborWorks America. She also previously worked in the California State Legislature, focusing on housing and local government issues. A graduate of the University of California, Davis and the Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship, Emilee lives in Grand Junction with her husband and their two children.

Monthly meeting and coffee, held the second Wednesday of each month at the Masonic Lodge/Grand Valley Event Center, 2400 Consistory Ct. We meet at 9:30 am for coffee and conversation. The monthly meeting, held from 10 to 11 a.m., includes club and community updates, and typically a guest speaker from a local non-profit or other organization. No reservations are necessary.
