The speaker for February is Elizabeth Fogarty – Director of Visit Grand Junction

Elizabeth Fogarty – Director Visit Grand Junction

Elizabeth Fogarty comes to Grand Junction after more than three years as the president and CEO of Visit Estes Park. She will start in her new post March 5 and replaces retiring director Debbie Kovalik, who led Visit Grand Junction since its inception in 1990.

Fogarty was selected out of 116 applicants during a nationwide search.

Fogarty previously served as president and chief executive officer of Visit Estes Park, an organization that won the 2016 Governor’s Award for best marketing campaign in Colorado. Fogarty brings to her latest duties experience in business development, consulting and marketing in the travel and hospitality industries. In addition, she’s been active in destination management organizations in Colorado and internationally.

Visit Grand Junction has a staff of nine, a budget of $2 million and serves as the tourism and destination marketing organization for the area.
