GJNC Monthly Meeting and Coffee
The monthly meeting, held from 10 to 11 a.m., includes club and community updates, and typically a guest speaker from a local non-profit or other organization. No reservations are necessary. We meet at 9:30 am for coffee and conversation. Meetings are held at the Masonic Lodge/Grand Valley Event Center, 2400 Consistory Ct.
The speaker for February is Libby Collins who is the Regional Program Manager for Colorado West Land Trust.
As a project manager at Colorado West Land Trust, Libby works to preserve landscapes and develop trail-based recreation along the Monument Corridor and around the six-county service area. Through partnerships with local organizations and government, Libby fundraises, coordinates public processes and land acquisition that support trail-based recreation and community stewardship of public and private lands. She received her M.A. from the Joseph Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver where she studied international economic development with a focus on rural communities.
