SUMMARY:GJNC Monthly Meeting & Coffee
DESCRIPTION:Monthly meeting and coffee\, held the second Wednesday of each month at the Masonic Lodge/Grand Valley Event Center\, 2400 Consistory Ct. We meet at 9:30 am for coffee and conversation. The monthly meeting\, held from 10 to 11 a.m.\, includes club and community updates\, and typically a guest speaker from a local non-profit or other organization. No reservations are necessary.  The speaker for May is Jack Curry who is the executive director of the Riverside Educational Center. \n\n \nJack Curry Executive Director – Riverside Educational Center \n\n\nJack has been with REC since 2018 and has been a part of the team that helped grow REC’s services. He has worked with our secondary programming team\, served as our programming director\, and then transitioned to vice president of programming and operations. Before coming to REC he has worked in the nonprofit world both in his hometown and with a two-year stint in Panama with the Peace Corps. Jack feels he can benefit our students holistically by giving them the opportunity to connect to the outdoors in the beautiful spaces we have around us here in the Grand Valley.

DESCRIPTION:Hikes are easy-going\, reasonably paced and typically 3-5 miles. They are either a loop or out-and-back\, usually with less than 200 feet of elevation increase.  Typically\, we meet at a location and carpool to the trailheads.  We meet every Thursday at 8:45 a.m. weather permitting to finalize plans and decide on carpools and depart at 9 am.

DESCRIPTION:Mahjong before holiday lunch \nLocation : SpyGlass Club House\,  across from 2693 Lookout Lane 80503\n( Hwy 50 toward Delta\, Turn on 27 Rd\,   Right on Spyglass Drive ; wind to top of hill. At stop sign turn Left onto Lookout Lane. Follow until the club house is on the left. Park on street or lot (make sure to leave one spot open for employees) \nThe club house is open to members of SpyGlass subdivision at all times and meetings may be running concurrently. We are responsible for table setup\, breakdown and general cleanliness of area during usage. Bring your own water bottles\, coffee etc and take them as you leave. The tables are best with our wonderful pads.
