SUMMARY:Armchair Travel
DESCRIPTION:We travel the world from the comfort and convenience of our local library. Armchair Travel is a joint venture with the Newcomers and Mesa County Libraries\, with local travelers showcasing destinations that range from our Western Colorado backyard to literally to the ends of the earth. Recent destinations included Slickrock Country to Miramar to the country of Georgia to Antarctica. These talks are held the first Thursday of the month\, September through May\, at the Central Branch of the Mesa County Public Library\, located on Grand Ave between 5th and 6th. Doors open at 6 pm\, and the presentation starts at 6:30 pm. Please come early for parking and good seating.
