The weather was great, the food was delicious, and the decorations were divine! A big thanks to Sharon and Brad Pearson for taking care of all the details for this really fun time and great opportunity for Newcomers to socialize.

Thirty Newcomers members were captivated by the tales of yesteryear by historian Dave Fishel at the Fruita Cemetery on September 16. Dave provides truly interesting facts about famous and not so famous persons buried at the Fruita cemetery. A round of applause to the Lunch & Tour committee for another fun event.

A great time was had by Newcomers who attended the 2009 Sheep Dog Trials in Meeker on September 12.. A big thanks to Joe Wharton for coordinating this trip. If you have never attended, you must do it for sure!
